Guerneville

On the north side of the Russian River, nestled amongst ancient redwoods, is the charmingly rustic resort town of Guerneville (pop. 4,460). It has been a welcoming destination for gay and lesbian tourists since the 1970s, and, with the recent opening of several upscale, farm-to-table eating establishments, is becoming a foodie Mecca as well.
