A former railroad freight station located slightly east of the Highway 101 corridor in central Sonoma County, unincorporated Penngrove (pop. 2,606) offers a slice of slow-town life within a small community of farms and rural estates. Only a few blocks long, Penngrove’s downtown Main Street boasts an eclectic array of local shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, in a variety of historic buildings.
